Xbox One might not provide support for previous Xbox 360 titles

Microsoft has stated that the 'Xbox One'  will not be backwards compatiable, meaning it won't support previous Xbox 360 titles.

This is not a problem for those who plan to pickup the Xbox One this year but also the Playstation 4 which is based on a different chipset meaning they might not support Playstation 3 titles.

It seems Microsoft has no intention of making the new 'Xbox One' backwards compatiable to support games from the previous console. Some gamers are outraged at this and some have started petitions to try to get Microsoft to make the Xbox One backwards compatiable like this one on Change.org. 738 supporters are already supporting this initiative.

Microsoft has not commented yet on this petition. I'll keep you guys posted.

Battlefield 4 Gameplay REVEALED

Two days ago on March, 27, 2013 , Electronic Arts and DICE revealed single-player gameplay for the highly-anticipated follow-up to Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4.
The gameplay, a 17-minute single-player gameplay from one of the levels of the campaign "Fishing In Baku" providing our first-look at the new installment to the series following Battlefield 3. It will also use Frostbite 3.0 an upgraded version of Battlefield 3's engine. This engine seems even better than 3's.
It seems the Beta for Battlefield 4 is confirmed to be close to the release date. 3 methods to get into the beta seem to be the Battlefield 3 Premium member, Preorder, or an owner of the last Medal of Honor Limited Edition. They might make this beta open again as with Battlefield 3, but no idea on that yet. I'll let you guys know.

Honestly, I loved the gameplay and they have made changes that might make BF4 a better game than Battlefield 3. For one, the destruction is much more detailed and allows for you to do so much more that BF3 limited you able to do. Rumor has it a player can use destruction to take down towers and six story buildings enhancing the destructiveness of the game we all love. In Battlefield 3, destruction was limited somewhat probably to maintain frame rate and was accompanied by a blueish tint to the graphics (hated that!) that made it harder to see enemies far away, etc. Battlefield 4 looks more clean and detailed as in the video you can see the grass moving as you walk through it, the sun shining in the air, and making it much more easier to distinguish enemies. They also implemented a new mini-map and a health counter along with how many grenades you possess to make it easier for the player to know what he has. This campaign fulls full of action and seems to provide a better experience than 3's did. I can't wait to see more gameplay hopefully from the multiplayer and get a glimpse into that. I hope they have a beta as BF3 did, hopefully less bugs so all of us can enjoy this new installment to the series and try it out.
I can't say much only given a glimpse of the single player gameplay but honestly it looks amazing.

Tell me what you think. Comment below.

To close, I'm definitely going to preorder Battlefield 4 as not only as I am a huge Battlefield fan, this game looks like a huge step up from Battlefield 3 and I can't wait to play it. The chaos Battlefield brings, destruction, vehicular gameplay, and constant action makes it a game that I really enjoy.

EA/Maxis 's Dreadful SimCity Release

SimCity game box
* EA/ Maxis Game Title

Maxis is well-known for creating the hit video game franchise The Sims which allow the player to control characters in order to do tasks such as finding a job, watching TV, interacting with other Sims, and other things such as take a shower. Its publisher Electronic Arts (EA) and Maxis have released a new game called SimCity which allows the player to be able to take a hand in creating the perfect utopia in their wishes controlling the city planning for the city's future- Sounds Awesome right?

Well, if you have played FIFA or Madden or other games such as Battlefield or Need For Speed you know that EA server network has problems that halt gameplay at such releases. That might be a problem if SimCity was playable offline, but a new DRM( to prevent pirating a problem with many PC games) with Origin (EA's flagship Online Gaming Platform- Similar to  Steam by Valve) requires that the player must be online to play the game. This might not be a problem if these players would be able to get online without being unable to play due to EA's dreadful servers. These players are demanding refunds and EA refuses to give them to players as they claim they are "quickly fixing issues with patch updates to the game"(EA).
It appears that you cannot save locally and all this is stored on the server- bad idea much? What if that server overloads?
Also there are no modifications allowed to me made to the game and users must be connected at all-time.

Online Marketplace Amazon.com has removed the game from their online shelves until the problem is fixed. The game now has a 1-star rating with over 1,400+ angry customer reviews about this game with various opinions. I chose a few comments that struck out at me.

"Guess what? If you'd love to experience the nonstop thrills and excitement of SimCity, then please remove $60 from your bank and promptly pay someone to kick you repeatedly in the friggin' mouth".
"It's a pity, Maxis could have made possibly the finest game of the year with SimCity, but EA's pursuit of anti piracy measures and their desire to ensnare DLC/microtransaction customers means they are more than willing to burden their customerbase with hassles and headaches without a second thought".
"EA has ruined this game, making it a DRM only game which requires you to have a constant internet connection. As a military Member who travels the WORLD i do not have a constant internet connection but i love my single player RTS games when i have a bit of off time. When i heard this game was DRM only months ago, I really hoped they would change their minds, but they basically said no its not DRM only and blatantly lied to the entire community".

Personally, I like the Sims. It's a great title and I enjoy having control over what goes on. This game honestly could be great, but thanks to EA's greediness it has had a horrendous release and the Online DRM to stop pirating is actually hurting the game worlds more than if they were just to combat it in another fashion.

PlayStation 4 Release Date Announced

PlayStation 4 according to Sony will be released on Holiday 2013.

Here is  pictures of the PlayStation 4 controller that was somewhat revealed to us on the live stream the other day:

* Playstation 4 controller

*Playstation 4 Dashboard

Looks pretty cool. Assuming "Move" is like Kinect like Sony's competitors respective names for it "Kinect" (Microsoft; Xbox 360) and "Wii" (Nintendo- who revolutionized it first out of the trio)
It's a step in the right direction for the Next Generation of Gaming.

And Look! An Xbox-Like Dashboard. I've played Playstation 3 before and was not a fan of the dashboard. This is a great step for Sony to try and integrate things like Facebook, YouTube, Netflix, etc. as it's main competitor Microsoft has done with the Xbox.

Honestly, I'm psyched to see what Microsoft is going to reveal later this year or at E3.
If Playstation 4 is at a great price (not $500 like the Playstation 3) I might honestly have a hard time choosing between the Xbox 720 and the Playstation 4. #FirstWorldProblems Huh?
Both are going to look like they are going to be great systems for the next generation of gamers.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Multiplayer Review

Hey Guys, here's my multiplayer review of the recent release of the game  Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 by Treyarch and publisher Activision.

Before I begin, I want to let you know I'm not the biggest fan of Call of Duty( Never bought MW 2.5( 3), and Black Ops sucked). I'm not being paid to offer a bullshit review of how "great" this game is and how more innovative they have become- Call of Duty innovation?! Ha!- especially when it's just Call of Duty 4 and the last game they released regurgitated every year. Anyway, I'll offer a nice glimpse of what I feel so far about the multiplayer exclusively as I have not played the Campaign at all and only briefly touched the Zombies to not give it a fair review.

After picking up this game after trying to get Assassins Creed: III from Walmart for 40$( which was sold out) along with Max Payne: 3 by developer Rockstar for 15$ I decided to grab this game because of pressure from the usual Call of Duty Game when it comes out. "It's so good." "You'll love it." "It's like Battlefield, Try It!" "They did so much."

To be honest
, I was actually surprised upon starting the game and heading to multiplayer. Now, it's not like they changed the game up as they did with Call of Duty : 4, I'll highlight what they have done and what I think about it.

First off, they now allow you to make classes using their new Pick 10 system which allows the player to choose "10 points" on a class using perks such as Overkill, etc. to allow you to use primary weapons as secondaries, adding more attachments, dual perks, etc. Honestly, I think this is a nice feature allowing freedom to change what YOU want in your class. You can go with just a knife and make a class centered around that. It's a nice thing and allows you more control over your character.

They re-skinned the famous Nuketown from their last installment Call of Duty: Black Ops and renamed it Nuketown 2025. Here's a picture of it below:

Same old, same old.
They now put in something called Scorestreaks instead of the usual Killstreaks, although me and my friends still call it that. I like this feature as well as it forces people to camp less and capture objectives and such more. It's a plus and I'm glad they added it. Now your streaks are based on Score and not Kills so it's now possible for someone to just capture objectives and get streaks. It's a plus, but camping is as it has always been.

Multi-Team

I really like this game mode as it incorporates a little bit of Teamwork with your friends that was not present in Call of Duty at all. You have a team of 3 and you go against two other teams of 3 making a total of 9 players. This is pretty fun and allows for a more focused method of gameplay as opposed to the usual "Lone Wolf" gameplay style Call of Duty has glorified. Another plus.

Hardpoint

Another game mode that is similar to Headquarters but requiring people to be in a specific area to get points for it. Also when you die, you can respawn and head back into the fight. Constant action as people need to fight over the point and stay in the guided lines to capture it versus Headquarters where people could capture it and go camp someplace. I like this as well.

Now moving onto the attachments and things they have added.
The perks are the same as always just with different names.
UAV, Counter UAV, and VSAT ( Blackbird) allow you to get points towards your streaks everytime an enemy is killed while you have it up encouraging people to use them more.
Now let's move on to what makes me annoyed.

Target FinderThe dumbest, stupidest, lamest, gayest scope in all of Call of Duty history. it's a scope that lights up enemies with a diamond around them just by aiming at them. It pisses me off getting killed by someone using this scrub scope as it takes absolutely no sense of skill to use it, Call of Duty in general doesn't require any skill at all.

MMS
This scope is actually alright. It allows you to see from a certain distance enemies through walls. I know what you're thinking, but it's not like you can shoot people through walls with it (you already can). It's good as it shows where campers are in the building if you didn't need the constant UAV to tell you that.

The weapons, most of them are new and the weapons are actually pretty good. Now in Call of Duty, there are always overpowered guns that everyone uses those being the PDW-R, Vector, MP7, and the like that decimates any enemies that come towards you. Perks such as Slight of Hand from previous games are now readily available as attachments to your guns in the essence of QuickDraw and FastMag.

Well, now for the rating of this game.

Rating : 8/10
Graphics: no comment; the same.
Gameplay: Same.
Features: Nothing really different.
Modes: a few new ones

That's what this game deserves. Honestly, if you're a Call of Duty fan or used to be like myself. This game could revive that way you used to feel for a while, playing with friends like old times. It's fun and a decent game far from what I expected.

Well, that's my first Video Game review. This is TechFate. Thanks for Reading!

Rockstar offering free t-shirts with GTA: V Pre-orders

Rockstar Games will be offering people who pre-order Grand Theft Auto: V from the Rockstar Warehouse.
The shirts are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. This promotion is only availaible at the present time for those that reside in North America, other territories and areas will receive similar promotions as well, but they have not announced these promotions yet.

Grand Theft Auto V is coming out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, while PC players petition to ask Rockstar to release the game for them.

I have to pre-order this game. I have not yet and I have to get right on that haha.

Support for PC Port of Grand Theft Auto: V gains 100,000+ supporters

A petition signed by over 100,000 individuals calls for Grand Theft Auto: V due for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles to be released for PC as well. With Grand Theft Auto this is not unusual as Grand Theft Auto: IV was released 6 months after the console versions were shipped. PC players are up in arms about this and Rockstar has taken it into "consideration" for the Wii U as well.

I support this to be released for PC as well as us console gamers. I play Xbox 360 and love it  ( not at the moment; my dad took it away for an obscene to me but reasonable cause for him) after I stayed up playing Call of Duty: Black Ops II a few nights ago till 4 in the morning!(Damn; I couldn't sleep =/)
Anyway, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was a masterpiece and this game looks like it might exceed that. I miss the mods on PC on that game and the endless fun I had having CJ in a catwoman suit with max fatness and an afro( Pretty cool!). The car mods and all make PC GTA beyond words fantastic.

Keep your eyes on this guys.

Hurricane Sandy now delays the 2nd GTAV Trailer

Damn You Sandy. First, you land here right in New Jersey and knock out all of the power all over the neighborhood, and town around me except for the corner and the few houses I live by.
I think I never got my power taken away because I watch Spongebob when I can.

Thanks to the Power Outages in New York, Rockstar says that the 2nd trailer will now have a delay.
I'm kind of pissed as you readers know, I cannot WAIT until Grand Theft Auto: V comes out. I was playing GTA:IV again today, and cannot believe how fun that game is to this day. Hopefully soon this trailer comes out or I might start going a little insane. Haha.

Read another article from Gamespot below. ;)

From Gamespot

Mighty megastorm Hurricane Sandy not only is impacting Call of Duty and Guitar Hero, but also Grand Theft Auto V. In an update to Rockstar Games' website, the company confirmed that a second trailer for the upcoming open-world game has been delayed due to power outages at the firm's New York City office.
"We are working on a second trailer--unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon," reads a line from the statement. "It's hard to be precise as we have no power whatsoever in our New York office. We hope everyone else in affected areas is doing okay."
Rockstar also confirmed that preorders for GTA V will begin November 5, and it appears some of the game's preorder incentives have leaked. Images posted to All Games Beta suggest Rockstar will offer a keychain image viewer (below) through which players can get a closer look at some of the game's locations. Additional promotional material for GTAV reveals these new game world locations, including the Vespucci Canals, Zancudo River, and Vinewood Hills.
Lastly, the same site also acquired new high-resolution art for GTAV rumored to be offered as an additional preorder incentive. The art shows off scenes of Los Santos, including a woman being arrested (above) and a man holding back a fierce-looking dog.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas $250 Million Lawsuit Fails

I thought this was very interesting. With GTAV coming out soon, I honestly cannot wait for a return to San Andreas. San Andreas, the game itself was a masterpiece.
This guy, a Cypress Hill backup singer Michael "Shagg" Washington tried to sue Rockstar for using his life story and his physical appearance in the game. I think it's dumb. If anything, it's good for you as you're respected over millions of players of this game who know the character was modeled after you. Infact, I did not after reading this article from GameSpot. Check it out Below.

From GameSpot

Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive has won a lawsuit over Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, writes The Hollywood Reporter. An appellate court judge on Wednesday denied Cypress Hill backup singer Michael "Shagg" Washington's claims that Rockstar used his life story and physical appearance as a basis for protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson.
Washington sued Take-Two in 2010 for $250 million, alleging that during the course of the game's development, he met with Rockstar to discuss details regarding his former life as a gang member. He even provided the company with a photo of himself and his name appears in the GTA: San Andreas credits.
However, a judge did not find this to be enough, and a California appeals court has concurred. Washington's principal problem was that he could not prove it was his likeness that appeared in San Andreas. The judge said, "Plaintiff is relying entirely on CJ's physical appearance in the game, but that appearance is so generic that it necessarily includes hundreds of other black males."
Additionally, the judge ruled that even if Rockstar did base CJ on Washington, it would have been protected as transformative fair use. This is an argument based on the fact that the First Amendment allows existing materials, including images, to be used so long as they are amended enough for a new purpose.
"Washington has presented no evidence demonstrating that the plot or characters of GTA: San Andreas have any relevance to his life or his purported fame," a statement from the decision reads.
